2003 ‘Duet #63: The Great and Ruinous Lovers’ (6 minutes). Duet for Schupp/Shaw. Text: Jeanette Winterson. Performed in Scottsdale and Phoenix, Arizona.

Scholarship
2003 Tanz Dramaturgie in the development of ‘Dance Dance Revolution,’ a multimedia piece utilizing dance, music, video and interactive technologies. Premiered at Zentrum fur Kunst und Medientechnologie in Karlsruhe, Germany. Collaborators included Christian Ziegler, Todd Ingalls, Kazue Ikeda, Sean Reed, and spueler.

2002-2003 Choreographer and Liaison between computer scientists and choreographers for ‘Motion E.’ Motion capture technology was used to create a computer program that could recognize a given artist’s movement signature. Collaborators included Bill T. Jones, Bebe Miller, Jennifer Tsukayama, Mary Fitzgerald, The Institute for Studies in the Arts and the departments of Engineering and Dance.

2001 Worked with Dr. Naomi Jackson as a Research Consultant seeking and collecting authors and articles about Human Rights and Dance for her upcoming book.
2000 Summer Study Research conducted in NYC studying how feminist theory fits into the history of tap dance. Interviews were conducted, via email, phone and in person, with Brenda Bufalino, Jane Goldberg, Karen Duffy and Germaine Salsburg. This information was then incorporated into the agenda of my tap classes.

Instructional Development
2006 Developed and implemented a mentorship program for the Graduate Teaching Assistants in ASU’s Department of Dance. This involved, observation of the department’s T.A.s twice a semester, meeting with them individually three times a term and providing written evaluation and feedback.

2001 Dance Conditioning, New course focusing on strength and flexibility to promote more efficient alignment in dance technique classes. Material drew from somatic techniques, Pilates, yoga and dance.

2000 Tap 3, New course teaching intermediate/advanced tap technique to non-major and major dance students. Also included a history/theory component focusing on post-1940s tap dance and how it reflected American culture.
